Cam drew those elite Norts who styled themselves on Roman legionaries didn't he?

Yeah, The Kazan Legion I think, could be wrong though it's way back in the memory buffers that one.

My Line up would be,

Cover - Wraparound and foldout 4 page Megacity 1 with Dredd on a lookout post by Dave Taylor.
Droid Life - Sullivan.
Dredd - Wagner and Kev Walker.
Strontium Dog - Wagner and Ezquerra.
Ro-Busters - Mills and Kev O'Neill.
Stickleback - Eddington and D'Israeli.
D.R. and Quinch - Moore and Flint.

If you could just sort that out Tharg that'd be great. Cheers.

A Roman Legions strip by Gordon Rennie & Cam Kennedy

Arh now then I could right that one for you. I know I know I'm too kind. In my masterplan when I start to take over 2000ad one of my main returning strips will be a little something different in 2000ad terms about a roman legionnaire called 'The Thracian'. Its pretty much a straight historical. The first part is written as a 22 page american comic, all but written as a Zuda entry all of which were abandoned as its a great 2000ad strip (when I've re-written it as ever with these things the first go is a bit rubbish!).

Now then Tharg if you'd only publish one of my future shocks we can get the ball rolling and I can unlease all this goodness onto the Galaxies Greatest...

Sounds great. Make it happen!! Even as a Zuda story - we need more Brits to show them how its done!! As well as delivering a great story one of the keys to doing well is getting the numbers to vote for you and, if the Eagles is anything to show, it is usually possible to get enough votes together to at least make a dent in what might otherwise be dominated by American comics.
if I went 'round saying I was an Emperor just because some moistened bint had lobbed a scimitar at me, they'd put me away!

A crime strip about someone with nothing to lose and no time for conventional morality: Ed Brubaker and Sean Phillips

Now if it were Stevie in Betelgeusian drag, not only would he giving the neighbours an eyefull whenever he trims the hedges but he would make this a Megamobster strip in the Meg.

As tempting as it would be to stick this team on DeMarco, the view from the other side of the maglev tracks is well overdue. Would make a nice counterpoint to Tank Girl too.

Well if someone has the time to draw it for me I'm up for it. The poster page I did for it is up in the competition thread now. Man I'd love this this story to see print.
